Fixfactor is a repair service, not an online shop: prices are quoted per device and job, so every service links to a quote or booking rather than a fixed price. There is no published recovery price: the fee depends on the failure type, the parts a case needs and the service level chosen. Payable once the customer authorises it. Credited towards the recovery price when the recovery goes ahead; not refunded if nothing can be recovered or the customer declines the quote. - Stacked-board iPhones (X, XS, 11 and every model from the 12 onwards; the XR and SE are single-board exceptions): a dead board with no visible cause is taken on as data recovery, not repair — the board's two soldered layers must be separated to read the storage, so realistic budgets start at £500. The same stacked construction appears in Huawei flagships (P40, Mate 40 and Pura 70 series) and Samsung's Ultra and Z-series models, and the same policy applies. - Recovery fee: quoted after the diagnosis, never before, and charged only for a result the customer accepts. - If recovery is unsuccessful, or the customer declines the quote, the £39 diagnostic is the only fee paid. - Service levels, each quoted before the customer decides: Standard 14–21 working days, Priority 5–14 working days, Emergency 1–4 working days. There is no 24/7 service. - Work starts at the Wimbledon workshop.
