Mobile Phone Diagnostics Service – Professional Problem Identification
Not sure what’s wrong with your phone? Our comprehensive diagnostic service identifies the exact cause of your device’s problems and provides a clear repair solution with transparent pricing.
When You Need Phone Diagnostics:
- Phone won’t turn on or boot properly
- Charging issues or battery problems
- Screen display problems or touch malfunctions
- Camera or speaker issues
- Performance problems or random restarts
- Software crashes or boot loops
- After drops or physical damage
- After liquid exposure or water damage
- Multiple symptoms suggesting complex faults
- Unpredictable behaviour after accidents
Our Diagnostic Process:
- Visual inspection – checking for damage, wear, or liquid ingress
- Complete disassembly – accessing internal components for thorough examination
- Component testing – screen, battery, charging port, cameras, speakers
- Motherboard analysis – multimeter testing of circuits and connections
- Advanced testing equipment – microscopes, thermal imaging, oscilloscopes
- Replacement part testing – using known-good components to isolate faults
- Liquid damage assessment – motherboard cleaning if contamination suspected
Why Proper Diagnostics Matter: Similar symptoms can indicate completely different problems. A phone that won’t charge might have a faulty charging port, dead battery, motherboard issue, or damaged charging cable. Boot failures often appear to be software problems but are frequently caused by corrupted storage or hardware faults.
Phone Brands We Diagnose:
- Apple iPhones – all models and generations
- Samsung Galaxy – all series including Note, S, A, and others
- Google Pixel – all generations
- OnePlus – all models
- Major brands – Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Motorola, Sony
- Less common brands – subject to parts availability for testing
What Sets Our Diagnostics Apart: When we find motherboard problems, we don’t automatically recommend replacement. We perform component-level diagnosis using microscopes and precision equipment to identify specific failed chips, circuits, or connections. Only when motherboard repair is too expensive, impossible, or risky do we suggest replacement.
Liquid Damage Discovery: If diagnostics reveal liquid damage signs, we’ll contact you immediately. Liquid damage cleaning is a separate service requiring extensive additional work. However, if you proceed with liquid damage cleaning, the diagnostic fee will be credited toward the cleaning service cost. If you choose not to proceed with cleaning, the diagnostic fee remains non-refundable as the diagnostic work has been completed.
Water Resistance Certification Loss: Important: If your phone was originally certified as water-resistant (IP67, IP68, etc.), opening the device for diagnostics will void this certification. We cannot restore water resistance to manufacturer standards as we lack the specialized equipment for pressure testing and certification. (Interestingly, even manufacturers typically void warranty coverage if they discover internal water damage, despite marketing devices as water-resistant.)
After Diagnostics – Your Options: You’ll receive:
- Detailed fault identification – exactly what’s wrong and why
- Repair quote breakdown – parts, labour, and timeline
- Alternative solutions – if multiple repair approaches exist
- Data recovery options – if phone cannot be fully repaired
- Warranty information – coverage for any work performed
If Your Phone Can’t Be Repaired: When phones are beyond economical repair due to parts unavailability or excessive costs, we can often still recover your data. We may also offer to purchase your device for parts value, or return it to you as-is.
Data Preservation Priority: Important: Some diagnostic procedures and repair methods may require full software reinstall, which could erase your data. If data recovery is more important than device repair, inform us before diagnostics begin so we can prioritize data preservation methods.
Important Diagnostic Terms:
- Payment required upfront – diagnostic fee is charged before work begins
- Non-refundable fee – applies regardless of diagnostic outcome
- Credit toward repair – if you proceed with quoted repairs, diagnostic fee is deducted from total cost
- Credit toward liquid damage cleaning – if liquid damage is discovered and you proceed with cleaning service
- Potential data loss – some diagnostic procedures may affect data accessibility
Diagnostic Limitations: Rare or uncommon phone models may have limited diagnostic capabilities if we lack appropriate test components or replacement parts. For unusual models, contact us first with your device specifications and problem description to confirm diagnostic feasibility.
Our Recommendation: Phone diagnostics are especially valuable if your device has been dropped, exposed to liquid, or is behaving unpredictably after an accident. Professional diagnosis prevents unnecessary part replacements and ensures you understand all available options before making repair decisions.
