You will be quoted with possible options and the cost before we start the actual repair;

First we run a diagnostic to determine all problems and the cost (we need 1-24 hours);

Once the price has been agreed, we start the repair (can take few days);

We can also retrieve your data (pictures, movies, files) from your water damaged Microsoft Surface (Pro) even if the tablet cannot be fixed

 

Limitation of liability: For any other service than the Surface Pro screen repair, when the device needs to be disassembled, there is a risk that the screen may break while removing. Regardless of the experience, this is beyond control. The “iFixit” rated Microsoft Surface tablets 1/10 for its repairability. Please only buy the service if you are willing to pay for the broken screen if this happens. You may also ask to cancel the repair and pay just the diagnostic fee.

Water or liquid damage is one of the most difficult kind of repairs. Actually anything could happen to the inside of your Microsoft Surface. Sometimes random components need to be changed on motherboard or it may need to be entirely replaced.

GALAXY S6 WATER DAMAGE REPAIR

The standard price for water damage is £99 and does not include components which have to be replaced if your Microsoft Surface is still not fully functional. This can be controversial but usually if your device is not fully functional, replacement parts may add the cost.

We never push you to do the repair, we always ask you first! You will get several options for the repair if possible.

Is your liquid damaged Microsoft Surface still partially functional?

Sometimes liquid damaged device may switch on and be partially functional, partially faulty. We still need to clean the motherboard from the corrosion first in prior to the repair. Sometimes the device may reveal additional issues due to liquid damage or even your device may stop working completely after the cleaning. Please consider the possibility that it may stop to work completely on some very rare occasions. This is not about further damage caused but about consequence of removing the corrosion from the damaged device. We don’t consider any claims that the device is further damaged in the cleaning process and the cleaning fee still applies, as we follow same set of procedures leading to fixing your tablet each time.

Don’t get us wrong. It does not mean the screen will break! In fact it is very rare and happened only few times. However the value of the screen is high. The risk is that sometimes the glue is stronger on that particular model.

Limitation of liability.

This is very risky process disassembling your device. To actually diagnose the hardware, we have to remove the front screen which is extremely strongly attached with a glue. We do our best not to damage it. We dedicate 1 hour for this process but if the screen breaks, don’t put the blame on us. Please only buy the service if you are willing to pay for the broken screen if this happens.

Please note: We charge £99 for the job that needs to be performed and it is not refundable regardless if the device starts to work or not. The reason is we need many hours cleaning and drying the motherboard of the device. The price of repair may be also higher if the device requires replacement parts to be fixed.

Before You Post Your Device:

Backup Your Data: While we don’t touch your device’s internal storage, we always recommend backing up your data for safety.

Password/PIN/Pattern Lock: Please provide the password, PIN, or pattern lock with your phone, or you may choose to remove it. Alternatively, you can factory reset your phone, create a second user or guest account – we just need to be able to test the device post-repair.

Remove SIM and Memory Cards: Take out any memory cards and the SIM card from your phone, but remember to include the SIM card tray. For other devices, also remove memory cards.

Device Only: Please send just the device, without any accessories.

Photograph Your Device: For your records, you might consider taking pictures of your device’s exterior before sending it (this is optional).

Pack Securely: Wrap your device in bubble wrap, place the order number visibly on top of the parcel, and write your return address on the back.
