How can I use your services?

We offer convenient options to use our services:

Mail-in Service: Select your service from our website and send your device by post from anywhere in the UK. Expect 1-5 days turnaround time with full tracking and insurance.

In-store Service: Book an appointment and visit Fixfactor in Wimbledon (SW19 1LY) or Oxford Street (W1W 8HF) for same-day repairs when parts are available.

Use our website to browse our offering and make a booking or place an order. Select the type of your device, then model of your device, next type of the problem, and finally you’ll be able to choose between ways of being served.

How long does it take to get my device repaired?

We usually aim to get your device fixed as soon as possible, but this is subject to replacement parts’ availability. Most common repairs like screen replacements are completed within 1-2 hours.

If we don’t have replacement parts for your repair, we will order them once we receive your device. Express ordering is available for urgent repairs.

You can pay a deposit if you want us to prepare parts prior to your visit. Upfront payment guarantees replacement parts ready for your visit and device repaired same day (if possible).

What quality replacement parts do you use for repairs?

We use the best quality replacement parts for all our repairs. Our parts meet or exceed original manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Sometimes we offer 2 different quality options if the price difference is significant, providing you with choices on the final page. This allows you to balance cost with quality based on your needs.

If original parts are not available, too difficult to source, or much more expensive than similar quality alternatives, we will offer you equivalent replacement parts for repair. This is always stated on the service page, or you can contact us directly for more information.

Do you offer warranty on all repairs?

Hardware repairs come with 6 months warranty, giving you peace of mind and protection against defects. This covers all standard repairs including screen replacements, battery replacements, and charging port repairs.

For tablet repairs, warranty period depends on the service – some repairs come with 12-month warranty, others with 6-month warranty. This depends on the manufacturer’s warranty on the parts we use.

Warranty exceptions include: diagnostic services, water damage repairs, micro-soldering, and all repairs that have individually prepared terms and conditions. These specialized services have their own warranty terms which will be explained before repair.

What brands do you repair?

We repair all major brands including Apple iPhone/iPad, Samsung, Google Pixel, Microsoft Surface, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, DJI drones, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and many others.

For tablets specifically, we work with Apple iPad, Microsoft Surface, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Lenovo, Huawei, and most other tablet manufacturers. Repairs are available at all our locations.

If your brand isn’t listed, contact us for a quote. We work with most manufacturers and can often source parts for less common models.

How much do repairs cost?

Repair costs vary significantly by device model and issue. Phone repairs typically range from £50-£400, while tablet repairs can cost £100-£600 for premium models like iPad Pro or Surface Pro.

Laptop repairs vary from £80 for basic services to £500+ for complex motherboard repairs. Data recovery services are quoted individually based on complexity and urgency.

We recommend contacting us for an accurate quote for your specific device and problem. Our website shows indicative pricing for common repairs, but final costs depend on your specific device and required service.

Do you offer same-day repairs?

Same-day repairs are possible when we have the required parts in stock. Common phone repairs like iPhone screen replacements are usually completed within 1-2 hours.

For tablets, we typically don’t keep replacement parts in inventory, so most repairs require ordering parts first. Contact us to check part availability for your specific model.

For urgent repairs, we can arrange express part ordering for next-day delivery when available from our suppliers. You can also pay a deposit to have us prepare parts prior to your visit.
