The Difference on a Phone Repair
Most phone repairs are a part swap. These are the four things you get when the workshop can also work on the board underneath.
Phone Repair in Action
A look inside our London workshop — the tools we use, the parts we work with, and the repairs we carry out every day.
Phone Repair Specialist in London
Twelve years in the same trade, in the same city. The badge on the back doesn’t change how we start — every phone gets diagnosed before anyone quotes you a price.
Screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers and microphones are the everyday work. We also take the jobs most shops send away: liquid damage that has already corroded a board, phones that won’t power on at all, charging circuits that have failed rather than a port that simply wore out.
That work needs thermal cameras, ultrasonic cleaners, hot air rework stations and microscopes, and someone who has used them for a decade. It is the difference between replacing a part and repairing a phone.
Four things you’ll hear from us first
- What is actually wrong — not whichever repair is quickest to sell you.
- What each part option costs, and how they really differ once the phone is back in your hand.
- How long it will take, and what would change that once we are inside.
- Whether it is worth repairing at all. Sometimes it isn’t, and you should hear that before you spend the money, not after.
Same-Day Means Booked Ahead
Screen replacements, battery swaps and charging port repairs take 1–2 hours — but only when the right part is already here. We don’t hold stock, so same-day repair means booking in advance: we take a deposit, order your exact part, and it is waiting when you arrive. Walk-ins are welcome, but if the part isn’t in we will have to book you back rather than promise something we can’t do.
Post Your Phone From Anywhere in the UK
You don’t have to be in London to use us. Send your phone by tracked post from anywhere in the UK and we’ll repair it and send it straight back — most postal repairs are dispatched the same or next working day once the part is in. Tell us the model and the fault before you send it, so the part is waiting rather than being ordered after your phone arrives. See exactly how mail-in repair works.
Every Brand, Including the Awkward Ones
Most shops handle iPhone and Samsung well and go quiet after that. We also repair Google Pixel, Huawei, Sony Xperia, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Honor, Nokia, Realme and others. Parts availability genuinely varies between them, and we confirm it upfront — if we can’t source a part, we’ll tell you rather than keep your phone while we find out. If the part price is what stops you, ask about a tested used part — a screen or a board taken from a working handset, checked before it goes in, where one exists for your model.

Common Questions
Everything you need to know before booking a phone repair.
Where are you based in London?
Our workshop is in Wimbledon: 136 Kingston Road, London SW19 1LY — accessible from Wimbledon Station and the Merton Park tram stop. We accept all phone brands and carry out the full range of repairs there.
If you’re not in London, you don’t need to travel. Post your phone in from anywhere in the UK and we’ll send it back repaired.
What are your opening hours?
The workshop is open Monday to Saturday — check our contact page for current times. If you’re planning to come near closing time, we recommend calling ahead to make sure we can complete the repair on the day.
How long does a phone repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 1–2 hours when parts are ready. Screen replacements typically take 60–90 minutes, battery swaps around 30–60 minutes. Water damage recovery takes 1–3 working days, as the board needs to be cleaned and assessed before we can confirm what’s needed. We don’t hold parts in stock, so booking ahead is what makes same-day service possible — we order your parts before you arrive.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both options are available. Walk-ins are welcome during opening hours, but we may not have the right part on the day if you haven’t booked — in which case you’d need to return once parts arrive. Booking in advance means we order your parts beforehand, and the repair is completed during your visit. If you need your phone back the same day, booking is the safer choice.
Which phone brands do you repair?
We repair all major brands: Apple, Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, Huawei, Sony Xperia, Xiaomi, Nothing Phone, Motorola, Oppo, BlackBerry, and more. We also handle Nokia, Honor, Realme, Vivo, and other less common makes. Select your brand above to see available models and services, or get a quote if your model isn’t listed.
What parts do you use?
For most repairs we offer two quality tiers: original or OEM-equivalent parts, and high-quality aftermarket alternatives. Original parts match factory specifications exactly. High-quality aftermarket parts are thoroughly tested and perform comparably for everyday use — they may differ subtly in display colour calibration or tactile feel, but function correctly in all key respects. Both options are covered by our full warranty. We explain the differences and pricing for your specific model before any work begins. We never fit parts without your agreement.
Will a screen replacement affect my fingerprint sensor or face unlock?
It depends on your phone model. On phones with a side-mounted or rear fingerprint sensor, a screen replacement has no effect on biometrics — they operate independently of the display. On phones with an under-display fingerprint sensor (common on mid-to-high-end Android devices from 2019 onwards), the sensor is calibrated to the original screen. Replacing the display may affect sensor accuracy or require re-pairing, depending on the part used. Face unlock based on 2D front camera recognition is generally unaffected by screen replacements. We’ll tell you what to expect for your specific model before we start.
Is my data safe during the repair?
We don’t access or view your personal data. Our technicians test only the repaired function — display, touch sensitivity, charging, or camera — to verify the repair was successful. Data loss during a repair is extremely rare, but we cannot accept liability for it. Back up your phone before bringing it in if you can — this is sensible practice before any service that involves opening the device.
Can you fix a water-damaged phone?
Yes. We use ultrasonic cleaning equipment to remove liquid residue and corrosion, then inspect the board under a microscope and thermal camera to assess component condition. If parts need replacing, we’ll quote you before doing anything further. Speed matters — the sooner you bring the device in, the better the chances of a full recovery. Don’t try to charge or turn it on after it’s been wet, as this is the most common cause of permanent damage.
Do you repair faults other shops have turned away?
Often, yes — it’s a large part of what we do. Most shops replace parts; when the fault is on the board itself there’s nothing to swap, and the phone gets handed back as unrepairable.
We work at component level: microsoldering stations, hot air rework, ultrasonic cleaning, thermal cameras and microscopes. That covers corroded boards after liquid damage, phones that won’t power on, charging circuits that have failed rather than just a worn port, and devices written off elsewhere. We’ll also tell you honestly when a repair isn’t worth the money — you should hear that before you spend it, not after.
Can I post my phone in for repair?
Yes — from anywhere in the UK. Send your phone by tracked Royal Mail or courier and we’ll repair it and post it straight back. Most postal repairs are completed and dispatched the same or next working day once the part is in.
Get in touch before you send it. If we know the model and the fault, we can have the part waiting rather than ordering it after your phone arrives — that’s usually the difference between a two-day turnaround and a week.
You can also drop off in person at our Wimbledon workshop. See how mail-in repair works.
What warranty do you offer on phone repairs?
All phone repairs come with a 6 to 12-month warranty covering both parts and workmanship. If the same fault returns within the warranty period, we fix it free of charge — no questions asked. The warranty doesn’t cover new physical damage, liquid damage after the repair, or faults unrelated to the original repair. Ask us about the specific warranty period for your repair when booking.
