Oppo Repair

Tell us the model and we will price it.

Which Oppo do you have?

Settings › About device gives you the model name and number — worth reading in full, because Oppo runs the Find, Reno, A and F lines at once and renames the same handset between markets. Tell us that, or send us a photo, and we come back with the price and whether the part is obtainable. Ask for a quote.

Most Common Oppo Repairs

What comes through the workshop, across the Find, Reno and A lines.

A phone display assembly being replaced on the bench at Fixfactor London

Screen Replacement

Cracked glass, dead touch, lines down the panel. Routine work on the phone itself; the variable is the part. On the curved-edge Find and Reno models there is no glass-only repair — the display assembly goes in whole.

1–2 hours* About Screen Repairs

Battery Replacement

Runtime that has halved, or shutdowns with charge still showing. Replaced with a full-capacity cell and fresh adhesive, then tested before it goes back.

About 1 hour* About Battery Problems

Charging & Fast-Charge Faults

Charges only at an angle, or charges but no longer at speed. Oppo’s fast charging runs through its own circuitry on the board, so slow charging is often a board fault rather than a worn port. We test which before quoting.

1–2 hours* About Charging Faults

Water Damage Recovery

Ultrasonic cleaning of the board, then component-level work on whatever the liquid reached. Bring it in unpowered; every hour it spends switched on costs you options.

1–3 working days** About Liquid Damage

Camera & Lens Repair

The glass over the camera island cracks long before the modules behind it do. We replace the glass where that is the fault, and the module where it is not.

Under 1 hour*

Back Glass Replacement

Shattered rear glass replaced and re-sealed. Give us the model and the finish when you book — Oppo changes both between variants of the same phone.

Typically 1–2 hours*

Symptoms pointing in several directions? How Diagnostics Works

Times assume the part is already on the bench. Oppo sells a fraction here of what it sells worldwide, so availability is checked for your exact model before you travel.

Liquid damage is quoted after the board has been cleaned and read, not before. If corrosion has reached the charging circuit or the power rails, the work runs longer — you hear that at the point we know, not at the counter.

Oppo Repair in London

Enormous everywhere else, small here — which makes the model name the first thing we need and the part the first thing we check.

Oppo is one of the largest phone makers in the world and one of the smallest presences on a British high street, and the repair trade follows the sales. Most shops hold no Oppo parts at all. We take the phones, and we are straight about where the difficulty is: the fault is rarely the hard part, sourcing the panel for your exact model is.

Getting that model right matters more here than on most brands. Find, Reno, A and F run alongside each other, numbering restarts, and the same hardware is sold under a different name in a different market — plenty of the Oppos we see were imported rather than launched here. Settings › About device, or a photo, and we take it from there.

Oppo and OnePlus Are the Same Company Now

OnePlus merged into Oppo in 2021 and both sit under the same parent. In practice that means shared charging architecture and a lot of shared thinking in how the phones go together, so the board-level work we do on a OnePlus applies directly here — including the one that catches people out: a phone that still charges but no longer charges fast is usually the charging circuit on the board, not a worn port.

The Part Decides, and We Check Before You Commit

On a model that launched in Europe the part is usually obtainable at a sensible price. On a China- or India-only variant it can be weeks away or simply unavailable, and that is the honest answer rather than a maybe. We ask our suppliers for your exact handset and come back with a real date. If the price is what stops you, ask about a tested used part: a screen or a board taken from a working handset and checked before it goes in, where one exists for your model. It is not always the right answer and we will say so when it isn’t.

Ask for a quote with your model name, or bring the phone to our Wimbledon workshop. Either way you get a price before anything is ordered.

Oppo Repair FAQs

The three things worth knowing before you book.

Which Oppo do I actually have?

Settings › About device gives you the full name and model number, and it is worth reading all of it. Oppo runs the Find, Reno, A and F lines at the same time, restarts its numbering, and sells the same hardware under different names in different markets. If the phone will not switch on, send us a photo and we will identify it.

You don’t list any Oppo models. Do you still repair them?

Yes. We stopped listing individual models because the list had gone years out of date — every Oppo page on the site was from 2016 to 2019 — not because we stopped taking the phones. The two conditions are the same as on every handset that lands on the bench: the part still has to exist, and the price has to make sense to you.

Can you get parts for my Oppo?

For models that launched in Europe, usually. For a China- or India-only variant, sometimes not at all, and you will hear that rather than a maybe. Tell us the exact handset and we check with our suppliers before you commit to anything — including for phones bought abroad. If the price is what stops you, ask about a tested used part: a screen or a board taken from a working handset and checked before it goes in, where one exists for your model. It is not always the right answer and we will say so when it isn’t.

Do you repair Oppos other shops have turned away?

Regularly — most shops hold no Oppo parts and will not open one. We work at component level: microsoldering, hot air rework, ultrasonic cleaning and microscopes. That covers corroded boards after liquid damage, phones that will not power on, and charging circuits that have failed rather than ports that wore out.

How does the diagnostic fee work?

Diagnostics is £39, paid upfront — at the counter, or online if you post the phone in. Go ahead with the repair and the fee is credited in full. If the phone turns out to be beyond economical repair, the fee covers the work of finding that out.

Where are you, and when are you open?

One workshop: 136 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, London SW19 1LY. Open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 9am–4pm, and we take posted repairs from anywhere in the UK — tracked and insured both ways. See how mail-in works.
