- Do you use genuine Apple batteries? We use premium replacement batteries with the same capacity and performance as the original. These are high-quality replacement parts, not Apple-branded batteries. They provide equivalent capacity, safety, and longevity with better value and longer warranty (12 months vs Apple's 90 days for battery-only service).
- What if I have a swollen battery? Swollen batteries require immediate attention and special handling. Stop using the device and don't charge it. Contact us for urgent same-day service. We safely remove swollen batteries using specialized tools and protocols. There's no additional charge for swollen battery handling.
- Will battery replacement reset my battery health? Yes. Your new battery will show 0 cycle count and 100% maximum capacity in System Settings. Battery condition will display "Normal" and macOS will treat it as a brand new battery.
- Can I upgrade to higher capacity battery? MacBook Pro batteries are engineered specifically for the chassis size and thermal design. We install batteries matching Apple's original capacity specifications – the maximum safe capacity for the device design. "Higher capacity" batteries from unknown sources often use inferior cells and pose safety risks.
- Do you need access to my device for testing? To properly test your MacBook after repair, we need to boot into macOS to verify battery charging, capacity reporting, power management, and system functionality. We can use a guest account if available, or you can provide a user password. If you prefer not to provide access, we can only perform basic power-on testing – but full functionality testing is recommended to ensure your repair is 100% successful.
