“The beginnings of Fixfactor, initially known as Raphone, were anything but ordinary. Launched as a partnership, the business journey took a dramatic turn within the first year when only one of us continued to steer the ship. For six months, Raphone was a one-person show, but by the end of 2014, our team grew to three. Fast forward to 2015, we were a bustling crew of six, laser-focused on delivering speedy, on-the-spot and mail-in repair services.

One of our biggest challenges was playing the clairvoyant with spare parts – ensuring we were always prepared for any repair that might come our way. We dabbled in phone personalization, offering unique color transformations not provided by manufacturers, but alas, it wasn’t our golden ticket. Similarly, mail-in repairs of phones and tablets enjoyed a more modest popularity over the years.

Our company’s history was peppered with surprises, the most notable being the unexpected popularity of Google and OnePlus phone repairs. We quickly became the go-to service center in the UK for these brands, a feat we later repeated with Xiaomi. Diving into DJI drone repairs, we initially rode a wave of high demand, which eventually settled into a steady, if smaller, part of our business.

We completely redecorated our office three times, including moving internal walls and replacing the floor. The last refurbishment in 2019 wasn’t just a facelift; it marked our rebranding to Fixfactor. This transformation was all done by us, not by dedicated builders, showcasing our team’s versatility and commitment.

A significant milestone was opening our Fixfactor branch in the city center – initially at Monument, then relocating to Oxford Circus, a mere two-minute stroll from the tube station, a feat that filled us with pride. However, timing was not on our side; the onset of lockdowns hindered our potential, and within a year, we faced the unfortunate turn of losing our office space.

Resilient as ever, Fixfactor downsized to a single store in Wimbledon, where we reinvented our offerings to meet the demands of a changing world. We shifted our focus towards laptop repairs and launched a new data recovery service, armed with top-tier equipment and extensive training. With a talented data recovery specialist on our team, we embarked on this new venture.

Through all the upheavals, some things remained constant: our commitment to repair quality, the convenience of both mail-in and in-store services, and the option of instant repairs. Looking ahead, we’re excited about revamping our website, adding even more repair services and reopening next Fixfactor branch.

You may wish to use our new appointed courier service. Your broken phone, laptop, hard drive, can be collected from your house or office and returned back same day at small charge. Otherwise just bring your device to our store in Wimbledon or office in Oxford Circus or send it via post.

If Fixfactor cannot fix your broken device, nobody can! We can definitely repair your device as long as it is not broken in half and the replacement parts are available on the market. Even if your phone, tablet or laptop is in pieces, we may still recover the data.

Any problem with your iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, Microsoft Surface or Apple laptop can be looked at, including broken screen, charging, battery, keyboard or software issues. We even may help you with liquid damaged devices.

Each repair starts with diagnostics to make sure that the problem, is the only issue. The service comes with warranty to cover you for at least another 6 months.

During COVID times, we are able to get your device repaired as normal. We ask all the customer to comply with general COVID rules, including wearing mask and using hand sanitiser.

We are happy to announce that we open a new Fixfactor office in London, 213 Oxford Street, near the Oxford Circus. We believe that the location will suit more customers. 

During the lockdown, we have decided to close our Monument office in the Wework building. In the meantime we have found a lovely space in Spaces building. Larger office, more space and fantastic location.

Fixfactor Oxford Circus will perform full range of repairs just like the Fixfactor Wimbledon store. We will offer phone repair, computer repair, Windows laptop and Apple MacBook servicing and data recovery.

Entry to the Fixfactor Oxford Circus is just between the Zara and River Island stores. Search for Spaces black sign. Once you get in, there is a lift, go to the 4th floor and ask for Fixfactor at the reception. We highly recommend you to book appointment in prior to your visit.

Fixfactor remains open by appointment or for mail-in repairs in the Wimbledon store. Monument branch will be closed during the lockdown.

We have implemented strict rules around our services to keep everyone possibly safe. Please send us an email or give us a call before you decide to us our service. As of now, we offer all of repair services but some replacement parts are harder to get.

Please note that some repairs may take longer than usually.

You may prefer to send your broken device for the repair rather than bringing it in person. We fully support repairs by post or courier and the service that you need may be already listed on our website. Just select the service, click “Next step” , then “Post your device” and follow instructions. If the service is not listed or you need to talk to us, just give us a call.

We take extra hygienic rules when we receive and return your devices. We start from cleaning the surface off your devices with antibacterial liquids and sprays. After the repair we do the same plus we use the UV lamp. Although the bacteria and viruses should not leave on surfaces for more than 4 hours, this is always recommended to put extra care.

You may also visit us. In some situations parts may not be available or the cost may be different than advertised on the website so please always inquiry first. The inventory level has been greatly affected by China and it may need few weeks to get to normal. You will be always informed about the price when you quote for the repair.

We ask you for understanding if we refuse to provide some types of repairs or if the repair takes longer. We try to answer all phone calls and emails daily but there may be some delays. Thank you and stay safe!

[Updated 15th June  2020] Wimbledon store has been officially open for walk-ins and we can help you Monday – Saturday. The Monument office has been pernamently closed. We open a new office in Oxford Circus – Central London from 1st July.

Fixfactor is proud to announce extension to its data recovery capabilities. After years of experience in micro soldering, motherboard repairs and number of successful data recovery cases, we have decided to invest more resources and energy into this part of our service. In result we use better and more recent data recovery equipment, our technicians have finished new trainings and new member is joining our team soon.

Data recovery may only seem to be related to accidentally deleted files of faulty hard drive inside the laptop. This is much more than that. Water damaged phone or laptop burnt in a fire, completely dead phone or broken in half – those cases are not hopeless! The data still can be possibly recovered. Data recovery is also used for forensic purposes and we hope to help with our expertise with wide range of customers.

Below are examples of data recovery cases that you may need to use our services:

• corrupted memory card after days of photo shots
• hard drive has been dropped and does not work at all
• Tesla Model S car with faulty main controller that cannot start
• broken Android phone with faulty motherboard

The goal is to perform all possible data recoveries in our office with possibility of recovering data in customer’s office. We use latest release of PC-3000 tools, laminar cabinets and UFS / EMMC readers for chip-off methods. If there is anything that cannot be performed in our office, we have partners specialising in particular cases that can help.

We take data recovery very seriously, it is not just and addition to our existing offering but more like a new division for new clients. We have introduced new security rules and update our procedures. Professional business customers that need data recovery from RAID and SAS drive are welcome.

Have you ever struggled to visit Fixfactor repair store in South West London thinking that it is just too far from where you live ? We hope that our new office that has just launched in the Monument (near Bank), will make it easier to access our services if you ever need them.

Fixfactor Monument is our second branch, located in one of busiest parts of London. Just like in our Wimbledon store, we aim to provide you while you wait repair services for broken mobile phones and computers. We stock most popular replacement parts for iPhone, Huawei, Google, OnePlus, Surface devices and if we cannot fix it same day, we are able to get it fixed most likely for the next day. Fixfactor Monument will provide you highest quality repairs and access to full range of our service but not all of repairs can be performed in the new office. Those repairs that require soldering, deep analyse of the problem or for any drone repairs, we will need to transfer those repairs to our Wimbledon branch.

Fixfactor Monument introduces slightly different concept since it is inside WeWork coworking space. This is a big building where we have office located on the second floor. Once you are here, just ask at the reception for Fixfactor. The gate opens and now you have access to the large coworking space area. Help yourself with tea or coffee and our team member will be with you shortly.

Since our goal is to provide you while you wait repairs, we highly recommend you to book the appointment first. This will help us to organise replacement parts and prepare on time. You can still visit us without booking but we cannot guarantee to be able to solve your problem that quick. We will always do our best thought. In some cases, we may recommend you to go to our Wimbledon branch if the timing matters.

So what we can fix in the Monument and what can we only do in the Wimbledon ?

Monument can do:

• Modular repairs of phone, tablet and computer, including broken screen, back glass, battery, camera, camera lens, keyboards, charging port repairs that don’t require soldering
• Software repair services
• Laptop and computer upgrades for additional memory and SSD
• Data recovery that does not require hardware troubleshooting
• Some basic diagnostics services

Monument cannot do:

• Drone repairs
• Water damage repairs
• Deeper diagnostics services
• Soldering repairs including motherboard repairs, some charging port repairs, etc.
• Some replacement parts are only stocked in Wimbledon

Please note, in case that we cannot fix something in Monument, you can either visit our Wimbledon store by yourself or ask us to transfer the repair. It will be always slightly faster if you will take it there yourself. Nevertheless, we hope that Fixfactor Monument will work for you as most convenient place if you ever need to get your devices fixed. Thank you !

After 5 years of operation we have changed the name from Raphone to Fixfactor. We have been planning this for over a year but the process was more difficult and needed more preparation.

There are multiple reason for the rebranding. First of all “Raphone” supposed to be only temporary name. Second and most important reason is that most customer was thinking that we only repair mobile phones. New brand “Fixfactor” should help us to build reputation of electronic repair specialists.

New branding, same owner. Same quality that aim to improve while we learn. This is just a beginning of big changes. You will hear more about Fixfactor pretty soon.
