- Will my data be safe? Screen replacement doesn’t directly affect your software or storage. We never intentionally delete customer data. However, we cannot guarantee data safety during hardware repairs. By agreeing to the service, you accept responsibility for your data. We always recommend backing up important files before any repair using Time Machine or iCloud.
- Do you use original Apple screen replacements? Our supplier describes these parts as high-quality Apple replacements. While we don’t claim these are original Apple parts, the quality, results, and resolution are identical to the original screen. We’ve occasionally noticed subtle differences in colour calibration when placing two identical models side by side on a white background, but this difference is only noticeable during direct comparison. In normal use, you’ll experience the same visual quality as the original display.
- Why do you replace the complete top lid instead of just the screen? Screen-only replacement (without replacing the top lid assembly) carries significant risks: backlight may not illuminate evenly across the display, the bezel frame around the screen often shows visible cosmetic marks from heating during separation, the screen adhesive can fail causing the display to detach over time, and the repair takes considerably longer yet costs nearly the same. Complete top lid replacement ensures perfect backlight uniformity, flawless cosmetic appearance, secure long-term adhesion, and reliable performance.
- Will True Tone work after screen replacement? True Tone may not function after screen replacement as it requires factory calibration between the display and logic board. However, you can still adjust colour temperature manually using Night Shift in System Settings, which allows you to set warmer or cooler colour temperatures based on time of day. Many users find Night Shift provides similar benefits and don’t notice the absence of True Tone’s automatic adjustment.

- Do you need access to my device for testing? To properly test your MacBook after repair, we need to boot into macOS to verify display quality, FaceTime camera, and all functionality. We can use a guest account if available, or you can provide a user password. If you prefer not to provide access, we can only perform basic power-on testing – but full functionality testing is recommended to ensure your repair is 100% successful.
