iPhone Repair Specialist in London

iPhones are the most popular phones we repair in London — and for good reason. They are reliable, long-lasting, and hold their value well. But popularity has a flip side: the market is flooded with replacement parts of wildly varying quality. Cheap screens that lose True Tone, batteries that degrade within months, aftermarket cameras that introduce focus issues. Every repair shop in London will tell you they fix iPhones. Not every shop will be transparent about what parts they actually install, what trade-offs come with them, or stand behind their work with a proper warranty.

At Fixfactor, we typically offer two quality tiers for each repair — a premium option and a good-value alternative — but both are tested and proven. We do not stock parts where the compromise affects everyday usability. We explain exactly what you are getting, what works identically to the original, and where any differences lie. No surprises, no fine print.

Our London workshops handle the full range of iPhone repairs: screen replacements (OLED and LCD), battery swaps, charging port repairs (Lightning and USB-C), camera and lens replacements, back glass repairs, and water damage recovery. Beyond standard repairs, we are one of few services in London that take on motherboard-level work — microsoldering, component diagnostics under microscopes and thermal cameras, and logic board repair after liquid or physical damage. This is often the last resort for data recovery when the phone itself may not be worth repairing, but the data on it is irreplaceable.

We Repair Any iPhone Model

We repair any iPhone model — from the latest Pro Max to older devices not listed on this page. If you do not see your model, request a quote and we will confirm parts availability. Where we are limited is Apple ID/iCloud Activation Lock and iOS software issues — Apple’s security architecture restricts what can be done without the account holder’s credentials. If your issue is software-related, we will tell you honestly upfront. For any hardware problem — we can help.

iPhone Repair FAQs

Common questions about our iPhone repair services. Visit us at one of our Fixfactor London locations.

Where are your London repair workshops located?

Fixfactor operates from multiple locations in London. For the latest addresses, opening hours, and directions please check our contact page. All our workshops are easily accessible by public transport and have nearby parking options.

Can you repair my iPhone the same day?

Yes, we can complete most iPhone repairs the same day, provided we prepare replacement parts for your visit. We no longer keep parts in stock due to the large variety of phone models on the market, making it impossible to predict demand accurately. To ensure same-day service, please book an appointment in advance so we can order the correct parts for your specific iPhone model and have them ready when you arrive.

Do iPhone screen repairs affect Face ID or True Tone?

Apple pairs certain components — including the display and Face ID module — to the device at the factory level. A screen replacement may trigger a notification in Settings that the display is not an Apple genuine part. However, Face ID will continue to work as long as the Face ID sensor array itself is not damaged. True Tone may be lost with aftermarket screens, but can often be restored using specialist calibration tools. We will always explain what to expect before starting your repair.

Do I need to book an appointment or can I walk in?

Both options are available. You can walk into either location during opening hours for immediate service subject to availability, or book an appointment to guarantee your time slot and ensure we have the right parts ready. Booking ahead is recommended for specific iPhone models or if you need your phone back urgently.

What does your warranty cover?

We provide 6 to 12 months warranty depending on the specific repair and the manufacturer’s warranty on parts we install. If the repaired component fails due to our workmanship or the replacement part, we’ll fix it again free of charge. Please ask about the specific warranty period when booking your iPhone repair. The warranty doesn’t cover new physical damage, water damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair.

Which Fixfactor location should I visit for iPhone repairs?

All Fixfactor London locations accept iPhone repairs including screen, battery, charging port repairs, and diagnostics. For advanced motherboard repairs or complex data recovery cases, we may transfer the device to our workshop with specialised equipment. We will let you know at drop-off if a transfer is needed.

Do you use genuine Apple parts?

We offer both original Apple screens and high-quality aftermarket alternatives. Original screens maintain the exact factory look and feel, including True Tone calibration, while aftermarket options are often significantly cheaper. Both work perfectly with touch, Face ID, and all sensors. We are completely transparent about what we install and will help you choose based on your budget and priorities. We always explain the trade-offs before starting any repair.

What are your opening hours?

Opening hours vary by location. Most Fixfactor workshops are open Monday to Friday from 9am, with some locations offering Saturday hours. For up-to-date times for each location, please check our contact page. We recommend calling ahead if you are coming near closing time to ensure we can complete your iPhone repair.

Are my data safe during the iPhone repair?

We intentionally never delete customer data during repairs. Our technicians only test basic phone functionality (calls, charging, display) to verify the repair worked. However, we cannot take responsibility if data is lost during the repair process, although this is very rare. We strongly recommend backing up your data before any repair if possible. We maintain strict privacy protocols, and your personal information remains secure throughout the process.

Can you fix water damaged iPhones?

Yes, we specialize in liquid damage cleaning using professional sonic cleaners and advanced diagnostic equipment. If you act quickly, damage can often be reversible. After thorough cleaning, we inspect the device under microscopes and thermal cameras to assess component condition. We perform component-level repairs if necessary, and if parts like the screen need replacement, we’ll provide you with a quote. While we cannot guarantee success, we have the specialized equipment and expertise to maximize recovery chances. Bring your iPhone to us immediately if it’s been exposed to liquid – don’t try to charge it or turn it on.

Is iPhone back glass replacement more difficult on newer models?

Yes. On older iPhones (iPhone 8 through iPhone 13), the back glass can be removed and replaced as a separate component, although the process still requires specialist equipment. On iPhone 14 and newer models, Apple has redesigned the rear enclosure — the back glass is now permanently bonded to the aluminium or titanium frame. This means replacement is significantly more difficult, more expensive, and more time-consuming. In some cases, it requires replacing the entire rear housing assembly rather than just the glass. We always assess your specific model and explain the process, cost, and turnaround time before starting any back glass repair.

Does screen removal for non-screen repairs risk damaging my iPhone’s display?

On newer iPhone models, many internal repairs — such as battery replacement, charging port repair, or motherboard diagnostics — require removing the screen to access the internals. This process breaks the factory waterproof seal and carries a risk of damaging the original display, particularly on models with OLED screens and tightly integrated flex cables. We always reapply adhesive to reseal the device, but the original IP rating cannot be guaranteed after any repair that involves opening the phone. We always inform you about these risks before starting the service, so you can make an informed decision. If the screen is already damaged, this is of course not a concern.
