Good to know

How long does an iPhone repair take?

Most iPhone screen and battery repairs are done the same day, typically 1–2 hours once the part is on the bench. We order per repair rather than hold stock, so booking ahead is what makes same-day possible. Board-level faults like no power, audio issues or boot loops need diagnosis first, and we give you a realistic timeline before any work starts.

What is the difference between Premium OLED and Value screens?

Premium OLED matches the original panel in colour, brightness and touch response — the right choice for newer iPhones you plan to keep. Value screens are quality-tested aftermarket panels at a lower price, a sensible option for older models. Both come fitted, fully tested and covered by warranty, and we tell you the price of each before you decide.

Will I lose my data during the repair?

Standard repairs like screens, batteries and charging ports do not touch your data. If your iPhone will not power on at all, data recovery is our specialty — we will talk you through the options before doing anything.

Do you repair iPhones other shops have turned away?

Yes. We do board-level repairs under the microscope — audio IC faults, backlight failures, boot loops, liquid damage and no-power issues. If a repair is not worth the money, we will say so honestly.

How quickly can you get the part for my repair?

Usually we can have the part in for the next day — though it can be 1–2 days, depending on what time the order goes in and on day-to-day availability across so many models. That is why the earliest visit for a prepaid repair is about two working days after you order. If timing matters to you, ask us before ordering and we will check your exact model. And if a part is ever delayed, we contact you with the new date rather than leave you guessing.

How does the diagnostic fee work?

Diagnostics is £39, paid upfront — at the counter when you bring the device in, or online when you post it. Go ahead with the repair and the fee is credited in full, so the assessment effectively costs you nothing. If the device turns out to be beyond economical repair, the fee covers the work of finding that out. If you prepaid for a repair and diagnosis shows a different fault, we contact you with options; cancel at that point and we refund the price minus the diagnostic fee, plus a £10 restocking charge when an ordered part has to go back to the supplier.

What does the water damage cleaning fee cover?

We strip the phone down, clean the board in an ultrasonic bath, treat the corrosion and dry it, then try to power it up. That work is what the fee pays for — it is not a deposit against a repair. If the phone comes back to life, that is the end of it and there is nothing more to pay. If it does not, we tell you what has failed and quote before doing anything else. If it cannot be repaired, we can look at recovering your data. Decide not to go ahead and we stop there — the cleaning fee is not refunded, because the work has already been done.
