The iPad 7 went up to 10.2 inches and gained a Smart Connector, but it kept the thing that matters most here: the glass and the LCD are separate parts. A cracked front over a working display is glass only, and that is a materially smaller job.
Before quoting we test what is underneath - full brightness, no lines, touch in every zone. If the LCD has gone as well we tell you, rather than fitting fresh glass over a broken screen. The home button carries across from your old glass; it is paired to the logic board, and Touch ID stops working if it does not.
