Assessment first: we tell you what can be recovered from your phone, and what the recovery costs, before any recovery work starts. Photos, contacts, messages and documents – from phones that will not switch on, have been in water, or have been wiped. Recovery is board-level work: microsoldering, chip-off extraction and reading the memory directly. The recovery itself takes 1–10 working days, depending on the damage and the priority you choose.
Good to know: If nothing can be recovered, there is nothing further to pay. The assessment fee is not refunded – it covers the work of finding out.

How long does a Motorola repair take?
Most Motorola screen and battery repairs are done the same day, typically 1–2 hours once the part is on the bench. We order per repair rather than hold stock, so booking ahead is what makes same-day possible. Board-level faults need diagnosis first, and we give you a realistic timeline before any work starts.
You only list two models – do you repair the rest?
Yes. The grid is what has a page here, not what we take, and we get considerably more Motorola enquiries than there are models on it. Razr, Edge, Moto G, Moto E, ThinkPhone and a decade of older handsets all come through the workshop.
Can you repair a Razr folding screen?
Yes, and it is quoted after diagnosis rather than off a price list. A Razr is really three repairs: the inner folding panel, whose protective layer is part of the screen; the outer cover display, which is a conventional screen at a conventional price; and the hinge, which is a mechanism that wears.
Will I lose my data during the repair?
Standard repairs like screens, batteries and charging ports do not touch your data. If the phone will not power on at all, data recovery is our specialty – we will talk you through the options before doing anything.
How does the diagnostic fee work?
Diagnostics is £39, paid upfront – at the counter when you bring the device in, or online when you post it. Go ahead with the repair and the fee is credited in full, so the assessment effectively costs you nothing. If the device turns out to be beyond economical repair, the fee covers the work of finding that out.
