We test the phone - opening it up if the fault calls for it - and assess what repair is needed and its chances of success. If the phone is beyond repair, we tell you honestly and can offer a parts buyback.

Software & Data
Assessment first: we tell you what can be recovered from your phone, and what the recovery costs, before any recovery work starts. Photos, contacts, messages and documents - from phones that will not switch on, have been in water, or have been wiped. Recovery is board-level work: microsoldering, chip-off extraction and reading the memory directly. The recovery itself takes 14-21 working days as standard, 5-14 with Priority or 1-4 with Emergency.
Good to know: If nothing can be recovered, there is nothing further to pay. The assessment fee is not refunded - it covers the work of finding out.

How long does a OnePlus 7 repair take?
Most repairs take 45-90 minutes on the bench. We order the part for your repair, so book a slot and pay ahead: your visit is usually about two working days later, and you wait while we fit it. Walk in without booking and we keep the phone, usually 1-3 working days. Faults that need diagnosis first get a realistic date before any work starts.

Will I lose my data?
Screen, battery and charging port repairs do not involve your data, and we never reset or wipe a phone without asking. Any repair still carries a small risk, so back up first if you can: we cannot accept liability for data lost during a repair. If your phone will not switch on and the data is what matters, tell us first, as recovering it is a separate service.
