The iPad 10 is unusual for its generation: the glass is not bonded to the LCD, it sits over it with an air gap between the two. That is why a cracked 10th-gen screen can still show a clean picture and answer touch everywhere - the damage is on the outer layer only. We look at what has actually failed before quoting anything.
The panel is glued into the frame regardless, so the way in is heat and a slow, even lift, working around a front camera that Apple moved to the long edge on this model. Touch, brightness, rotation, the landscape camera and Apple Pencil input are all checked before handover.
