If you have a problem with the wifi being off and you cannot switch it on because this is greyed out, this is probably logic board problem that we can repair.
The issue is being caused by the faulty IC chip on the iPhone 6’s logic board. This is a very small component that needs to be removed and the work needs to be performed under the microscope, using hot air station and micro soldering equipment. After we replace it, it will bring your wifi / bluetooth back to normal.
Before we actually replace it, we will check your phone and confirm that this is actually the issue. You only pay for successful repair. To guarantee your satisfaction, we don’t try to reflow the logic board but we always replace the IC chip, using high quality micro soldering equipment.
Repair Time
Some of the repairs we can do within 1 day but it may take even 3 days. Sometimes we need to spend more time doing the micro soldering on the particular phone. In some circumstances the phone may not be repairable. Same symptoms may lead to different problems. If the phone cannot be repaired without replacing the logic board, we will only ask for the diagnostic charge (£25).
Important about the risk
The repair is risky and the phone may develop other symptoms during the job (because of the heat and the whole nature of the repair). It may not even not turn on at all. We can offer you the logic board replacement but we don’t take responsibility if your iPhone 6 stops to work and does not work at all after the process that should lead to repair it.
