Nothing Phone (3a) Back Glass Replacement
A crack on the back does not stop the phone working, which is why it gets left - until the pieces start lifting, catching on a pocket, or letting moisture past the seal. On the (3a) that seal is doing real work, and the panel is genuine glass rather than the polycarbonate the previous generation used.
Behind it sit the three Glyph strips and their twenty-six addressable lights, which is why we replace the panel rather than glue the cracks down, and why the lighting is checked zone by zone once the new back is on. The (3a) is opened from the back for almost everything else it might need, too - so if there is a battery or a charging port on the list as well, this is the moment to say so.
