Assessment first: we tell you what can be recovered from your phone, and what the recovery costs, before any recovery work starts. Photos, contacts, messages and documents – from phones that will not switch on, have been in water, or have been wiped. Recovery is board-level work: microsoldering, chip-off extraction and reading the memory directly. The recovery itself takes 1–10 working days, depending on the damage and the priority you choose.
Good to know: If nothing can be recovered, there is nothing further to pay. The assessment fee is not refunded – it covers the work of finding out.

How long does a Huawei repair take?
Most Huawei screen and battery repairs are done the same day, typically 1–2 hours once the part is on the bench. We order per repair rather than hold stock, so booking ahead is what makes same-day possible. Board-level faults need diagnosis first, and we give you a realistic timeline before any work starts.
My Huawei is from 2018 or 2019 – is it worth repairing?
Often yes, and we will tell you when it is not. A battery or a charging port is cheap next to replacing the phone. A screen is the one to think about: on an older or a Lite model it can be a large share of what the handset is worth today. You get that number before anything is ordered, and if the price is what stops you, ask about a tested used part.
Can you get the part for my model?
For the P20 and P30 era, usually – those parts are still obtainable and sensibly priced. For anything Huawei launched from 2020 onwards, sometimes not: those phones sold in tiny numbers here, so the parts come from further away. We check for your exact model before you commit to anything.
Will I lose my data during the repair?
Standard repairs like screens, batteries and charging ports do not touch your data. If the phone will not power on at all, data recovery is our specialty – we will talk you through the options before doing anything.
My Huawei is completely dead – what are the options?
The flagship P and Mate models put their electronics on two boards soldered into a stack, which has to be taken apart before the fault can even be found. That work makes sense when the files on the phone are worth it: as data recovery, from £500, with no recovery fee if nothing comes back. A fault we can actually see – corrosion after a spill, a damaged connector, a failed charging circuit – is repaired normally, with the standard warranty.
How does the diagnostic fee work?
Diagnostics is £39, paid upfront – at the counter when you bring the device in, or online when you post it. Go ahead with the repair and the fee is credited in full, so the assessment effectively costs you nothing. If the device turns out to be beyond economical repair, the fee covers the work of finding that out.
