We test the phone – opening it up if the fault calls for it – and assess what repair is needed and its chances of success. If the phone is beyond repair, we tell you honestly and can offer a parts buyback.

Please note: The fee covers the clean and the diagnosis together – sometimes the clean alone brings it back. It is not refundable if the device can’t be saved.

Assessment first: we tell you what can be recovered from your phone, and what the recovery costs, before any recovery work starts. Photos, contacts, messages and documents – from phones that will not switch on, have been in water, or have been wiped. Recovery is board-level work: microsoldering, chip-off extraction and reading the memory directly. The recovery itself takes 1–10 working days, depending on the damage and the priority you choose.
Good to know: If nothing can be recovered, there is nothing further to pay. The assessment fee is not refunded – it covers the work of finding out.

Official system reinstall, firmware flashing and factory reset – with a hardware check first, because boot loops and freezing are often failing storage rather than software.
Any repair that opens the phone: Treat the device as no longer water resistant. We cannot test or guarantee the seal after opening it.

How long does a Nothing Phone repair take?
Most Nothing Phone screen and charging port repairs are done the same day, typically 1–2 hours once the part is on the bench. We order per repair rather than hold stock, so booking ahead is what makes same-day possible. Board-level faults need diagnosis first, and we give you a realistic timeline before any work starts.
My fault is not listed – can you still help?
Almost certainly. The Diagnostics service on this page covers any fault we have not priced yet – we assess the phone, send you a written quote, and the fee is credited towards the repair when you go ahead. You can also describe the fault and we will price it from your description.
Will I lose my data during the repair?
Standard repairs like screens and charging ports do not touch your data. If your phone will not power on at all, data recovery is our specialty – we will talk you through the options before doing anything.
