Nothing Phone (2) Battery Replacement
The Phone (2) carries a 4,700 mAh cell, and most of them now have a few years of charge cycles behind them. The signs are a percentage that drops in steps rather than smoothly, shutdowns well above zero, or a back that no longer sits flat - and that last one is the urgent case, because a swelling cell is a safety matter rather than an inconvenience.
The (2) is also the last of the family to charge wirelessly, at 15W, and to charge other things at 5W. Both put heat through the cell, and heat is what ages a battery fastest. We fit a tested cell, reseal the glass back that the Glyph strips sit behind, and check charging wired and wireless before handover.
