Desktop PC Data Recovery

Desktop PC - Desktop PC Data Recovery at Fixfactor London

Assessment first: we tell you what can be recovered from your PC, and what the recovery costs, before any recovery work starts.

Failed hard drives, SSDs and NVMe drives, and machines that will not start. A desktop that will not power on does not mean the files are gone.

Good to know: If nothing can be recovered, there is nothing further to pay. The assessment fee is not refunded - it covers the work of finding out.

Desktop PC Data Recovery

When a desktop dies, the machine and the data in it are two separate problems - and the data is almost always the one that matters. A PC that will not power on, a drive that clicks, ticks or is no longer detected, or a machine that froze mid-work and never came back: in most of these cases the files are still recoverable.

What we do

The drive comes out and is assessed on professional data recovery equipment - not just plugged into another PC. Logical faults are imaged safely before anything is read; mechanically failed hard drives are handled with clean procedures and donor parts; failed SSDs and NVMe drives are worked at chip and controller level. You get a verdict on what is recoverable and a fixed quote before any recovery starts.

What not to do first

Do not keep power-cycling the machine, and do not run repair utilities against a drive that is making new noises - both can turn a recoverable drive into an unrecoverable one. Power it down and bring it in, or send just the drive.

What we recover from

Internal hard drives, SATA SSDs and NVMe drives from any desktop, including machines other shops have declared dead. No recovery, no recovery fee.
