iMac diagnostics — we find the source of the problem and give you a clear quote to fix it.
We test the machine — and open it up if the fault calls for it — then tell you what is wrong, what the repair costs and what the chances of success are. You decide with the quote in hand.

iMac Diagnostics Service
An iMac that will not start, shows a black screen, restarts by itself or runs unbearably slowly can have any of a dozen causes: the power supply, the drive, the memory, the display cable, the logic board. Guessing means replacing parts that were never the problem. Diagnostics is the cheaper route to the right answer.
What we do
We test power delivery, storage health, memory and display path, read the machine’s own logs, and open it where the symptom calls for it. Where the fault points at the logic board we take it to the microscope and thermal camera — the same equipment we use for component-level repair.
What you get
A plain description of what is wrong, what the repair costs, how long it takes, and an honest view of the odds. No work starts until you agree to it. The £39 comes off the repair bill if you go ahead.
Models
All iMac generations, plus Mac mini and Mac Pro on request.
