iPad batteries are held down with adhesive strips under the logic board side of the chassis, and the way in is through the glued display. It is a careful job, not a quick swap — done badly it costs you the screen as well.
We fit a new cell, re-seal the device and verify charging behaviour before handover. A swollen battery pushing the screen up is worth acting on quickly: the longer it runs, the more likely the display is damaged too.
How long it takes
iPad battery replacement runs 2–3 hours once the battery is confirmed for your visit — the adhesive work on the display cannot be rushed. Same-day is possible when arranged in advance.

- Will my data be affected? Battery replacement does not touch your storage, and we never wipe devices as part of a repair. Back up first if you can.
