Cracked or dead display replaced and fully tested — touch, brightness and Apple Pencil input checked before you get it back.
Service Details
The display is the part that goes first, and on an iPad it is glued in — the panel has to be heated and lifted without disturbing the digitiser cable or the front camera. That is the work you are paying for as much as the part itself.
We fit a quality-tested panel, re-seal the device properly and test touch, brightness, rotation and Apple Pencil input before handover. You get a written quote first — nothing is ordered or opened until you say go.
How long it takes: screen replacement on an iPad runs 1–3 hours once the panel is confirmed for your visit — the adhesive work cannot be rushed. Same-day is possible when the part is arranged in advance.
Common Questions
- How long does it take? 1–3 hours with the panel arranged in advance of your visit.
- Will Apple Pencil still work? Yes — Pencil input is part of the handover checks after the new panel goes in.
- Will my data be affected? Screen replacement does not touch your storage, and we never wipe devices as part of a repair. Back up first if you can — standard advice before any hardware work.
- What warranty do I get? Our standard parts-and-labour warranty covers the panel and the work.
