A console that has been in liquid keeps corroding after it looks dry. The board, the connectors and the charging circuit are all at risk until the residue is off, so the sooner it reaches the bench the better the odds. Do not put it on charge and do not keep pressing the power button to see whether it still works - powering a wet board is what causes the damage that cannot be undone.
We strip it down, clean the boards ultrasonically, treat the corrosion and only then test what still works. You get a written assessment of what the liquid reached and a price for anything that needs repairing.
