Nintendo Switch 2 charging port repair
The port takes the same daily punishment it always did: plugged in, pulled out, dropped into a dock. The warning sign is a cable that has to be held just so, charging that stops and starts, or a console that charges from the mains but will not wake in the dock.
The port is soldered to the mainboard and comes off under a microscope. We test charging, data and docked output through the new port, and we check your charger and cable while it is here - a fair share of these turn out to be the lead rather than the console.
