Sony Xperia 10 VI battery replacement
A phone that no longer reaches the evening, shuts down at 20% in the cold, or gets warm doing nothing much: those are the three ways a worn cell announces itself. Lithium cells lose capacity by cycle count, not by how carefully you treat them, and after two or three years the drop is steep rather than gradual.
Sony sells this one on two-day battery life. When it stops making it through the second day, and then the first, the 5,000 mAh cell has done its cycles.
We fit a new 5,000 mAh cell: the rear panel comes off under controlled heat, the old adhesive is cleaned out, the new cell goes in on fresh adhesive, and the phone is resealed and run through a charge cycle before it goes back to you. Typically one to two hours once the part is on the bench. We order per repair rather than hold stock, so booking ahead is what makes a same-day fit possible.
If the battery has started to swell, stop charging it. A swollen cell pushes the 6.1″ 21:9 OLED or the back panel out of the frame, and what starts as a battery job turns into a screen job. Tell us when you book and we will handle it accordingly.
Your data is not touched. Bring it to us in London, or post it in - UK‑wide, tracked both ways. One thing we will not pretend: the phone left the factory rated IP65/IP68, and while we reseal it properly, no workshop can certify that rating again after the phone has been opened.
