Steam Deck OLED screen replacement
A cracked front, a panel showing lines or nothing at all, or a touchscreen that has stopped answering in one corner. A handheld gets dropped in a way a console on a shelf never does, so this is one of the jobs that comes in most.
The OLED panel is a different and more expensive part than the LCD one, and it is bonded rather than clipped, so this is quoted after we have the handheld in front of us. You get the number before any work starts.
We fit the panel, check the touch layer across the whole surface and reassemble with the seals in the right places rather than leaving it to rattle.
