If you need to upgrade the capacity of the internal storage, we may offer you 4 different SSD sizes: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB. This is a dedicated original SSD storage for your Surface Book 2 15″.Â
To replace the SSD drive, we need to disassemble the device! The process of removing broken glass requires a heating and special tools. We replace the old adhesive with a new one to assure the proper fit. The process if very risky and you should assume that the screen may break.
Your device is always tested after repair.
Your Microsoft Surface Book 2 15″ tablet will be carefully tested after repair. The test will include the new charging port, screen fitting, all motherboard connections, the screen and anything that we had to reconnect after disassembling your tablet (front camera, charging, speakers, Wifi,etc). After you receive the tablet we kindly ask you to check it again.
The repair can take longer than 2 hours in some cases.
Sometimes when you device has more serious damage or if the screen breaks, we may need more than 2 hours to fix it. If the corners of your Surface are dented or the frame is bended, than we may need additional few hours to prepare it for new screen to be fitted. In some cases we may need extra charge to spend extra 2 hours on aligning and polishing that damaged frame. We will inform you about that before proceeding. For most difficult cases that are repairable, your tablet will be ready on the next working day.
Do you require installing the Windows 10 ?
If you require help installing Windows 10 on your tablet, let us know ! There is additional charge of £50. If you require the service, please let us know or we will contact you before proceeding with the service.
Limitation of liability.
This is very risky process disassembling your device. To actually diagnose the hardware, we have to remove the front screen which is extremely strongly attached with a glue. We do our best not to damage it. We dedicate 1 hour for this process but if the screen breaks, don’t put the blame on us. Please only buy the service if you are willing to pay for the broken screen if this happens.
