Thirteen inches of bonded glass is the difficulty here. The panel is fully laminated, so glass, touch and LCD are one part, and a sheet that size has to be heated evenly across its whole area and lifted evenly, or it flexes and cracks on the way out. There is no rushing it and no glass-only shortcut on this generation.
New assembly in, device resealed, then touch across the full surface, brightness, rotation, the landscape camera and Apple Pencil Pro all checked. You get a quote first: nothing is ordered or opened until you say so.
