A cracked or dead iPad 6 display - we establish first whether it is the glass, the LCD, or both.
Service Details
On the iPad 6 the glass and the LCD are two separate parts. If the picture underneath is clean and touch still answers everywhere, the glass alone can be replaced and the display left where it is - so the first thing we do is work out which of the two has actually gone.
Where the display itself has failed, the whole assembly comes out: heat, a slow lift, and care around the digitiser cable and the Touch ID home button, which is paired to your logic board and has to be carried across from the original glass or Touch ID stops working for good. Touch, brightness and Apple Pencil input are checked before handover.
