On the iPhone 17 Pro the battery sits behind the display in a screwed metal tray, so a battery job on this model starts with a screen removal - it is no longer a job through the back. The cell is released electrically rather than levered out, which is what keeps the tray and the surrounding flexes intact.

We check the charging circuit as well as the cell, because a phone that will not hold charge is not always the battery. If it turns out to be the board or the port, we tell you what we found and quote that separately - nothing is fitted without your authorisation.
