What Screen Damage We Fix:

  • Cracked or shattered front glass
  • Display problems (vertical lines, dead pixels, dark spots)
  • Touch functionality issues or unresponsive areas
  • Complete screen blackout
  • Display flickering or discolouration

Complete Screen Assembly Replacement: iPhone screens come as a complete assembly – front glass, display panel, and touch digitiser laminated together as one unit. We replace the entire screen assembly to guarantee a perfect result.

Visit Us in London: We don’t stock all screens – there are too many iPhone models – but we can usually get yours next day. For while-you-wait service, book an appointment and we’ll have your screen ready when you arrive. You can also drop in without booking, but don’t expect same-day replacement without an appointment.

Mail-In Service: Can’t visit us in London? Send your iPhone to Fixfactor – we’ll replace the screen and return it within 1-3 working days.

Quality Replacement Parts: We use quality-tested OLED replacement screens for iPhone Xs Max. Each screen is checked for dead pixels, colour accuracy, and touch response before installation.

Face ID Functionality: iPhone Xs Max screen replacement requires careful handling of Face ID components. Our technicians transfer your original Face ID hardware to the new screen assembly – Face ID will continue working after repair.

True Tone Note: True Tone is not transferred as standard with screen replacement. Most customers don’t notice or mind this. If True Tone is important to you, please mention it when booking and we’ll discuss what options are available.

What We Do:

  • Remove damaged screen without disturbing other components
  • Transfer Face ID sensors, earpiece speaker, and front camera to the new screen
  • Clean the frame and check for any hidden damage
  • Test fit the new screen before final installation
  • Verify Face ID works correctly

What We Test: Display brightness and colours, touch response across the entire screen, Face ID unlock, earpiece speaker clarity, front camera and proximity sensor.

Important Apple Notification: After screen replacement, your iPhone may display a notification in Settings indicating the screen is not genuine Apple hardware. This is normal for third-party replacements and doesn’t affect functionality.

Water Resistance Note: iPhone Xs Max was manufactured with water resistance sealing. Screen replacement requires removing this seal, and while we apply fresh adhesive, we cannot guarantee the original level of water resistance after repair. Treat your iPhone as non-water-resistant after screen replacement.

While We’re Inside: With your iPhone Xs Max already open, consider additional services at reduced labour cost:

  • Battery replacement – restore battery health while device is already disassembled
  • Back glass replacement – fix cracked rear glass during screen repair

6-12 Month Warranty: All screen replacements include 6-12 month warranty (depending on supplier) covering the screen and workmanship.

What to Expect: Your iPhone Xs Max will have a working screen with full touch sensitivity, functioning Face ID, and working front camera.

Common Questions:

  • How long does the repair take? Most screen repairs are completed within 1 hour when parts are available.
  • Will Face ID still work? Yes – we carefully transfer your original Face ID hardware to the new screen assembly.
  • What about True Tone? True Tone is not transferred as standard. Most customers don’t notice the difference. If it’s important to you, mention it when booking.
  • Will my phone still be waterproof? No – treat your iPhone as non-water-resistant after any repair. We use proper adhesive, but we can’t guarantee the original seal.
  • What warranty do I get? 6-12 months on parts (depending on supplier) and 12 months on our workmanship.
  • Are you Apple Authorised? No – we’re an independent repair shop. This means faster turnaround, lower prices, and we never wipe your data as part of the repair.
  • Will my data be safe? We never intentionally delete data and don’t need to reset your phone for this repair. However, if something goes wrong during the repair process, we’re not responsible for data loss – by booking, you accept this risk. We always recommend backing up your data before any repair if possible.
  • Do you need my passcode? To properly test your iPhone after repair, we need your passcode – during screen replacement various cables are disconnected, so we need to verify everything works after reassembly. If you’d rather not share your passcode, we can test with you present, or you can reset the phone beforehand. We can also skip testing, but the risk of needing adjustments is higher – and you’d be responsible for bringing the phone back if something needs tweaking.
  • Can’t visit London? Use our mail-in service – send your iPhone from anywhere in the UK and we’ll return it repaired within 1-3 working days.

Other Damage? If your iPhone Xs Max has any additional damage, please mention it when booking:

  • Back glass damage
  • Bent frame or housing damage
  • Liquid damage or exposure to moisture
  • Camera lens cracks
  • Any other visible damage

If we discover liquid damage during repair, additional cleaning may be required. We’ll always contact you before proceeding.

Not Sure If It’s the Screen? Sometimes display problems relate to logic board issues or liquid damage. Book a diagnostic service and we’ll give you an honest assessment.

Booking Your Repair: Book your appointment and we’ll order your screen, confirm your visit, and have everything ready when you arrive at Fixfactor.
