Cracked glass, a dead panel, lines, or touch that has stopped answering. On the OLED model the glass and the panel are one bonded part, which is what sets this apart from the original Switch.

Nintendo Switch OLED screen replacement
A cracked front, a panel showing lines or nothing at all, or a touchscreen that has gone unresponsive in one area. On the original Switch a cracked front can sometimes be treated as glass alone. On the OLED it cannot: the glass, the panel and the touch layer are bonded into a single assembly, so a crack means the assembly.
We fit the new panel, check the touch layer across the whole surface, and reassemble with the shielding and adhesive where they belong rather than leaving the screen to lift at a corner. Tested docked and handheld before it goes back.
