A full bench assessment of your PS5 — what has actually failed, what it costs to put right, and whether it is worth doing. The fee comes off the repair when you go ahead.

PlayStation 5 diagnostics
For a console that will not power on, shows no picture, shuts down mid-game, throws errors, or is doing something you cannot explain. We open it, test it and tell you what is wrong — rather than quoting for the most likely fault and finding out later.
The console goes on the bench, not on the counter: power rails measured, the HDMI circuit checked, the disc drive exercised, temperatures logged under load, and the storage tested. You get a written diagnosis and a fixed price for the repair before anything is ordered or touched.
Walk in, book a visit or use the UK-wide mail-in service. Bring the console only — we have leads, controllers and displays here.
What the fee buys, and what happens to it
It buys bench time and a straight answer. If you go ahead with the repair, the fee comes off that repair. If the machine is beyond sensible repair, you get told why, and you keep the diagnosis to take elsewhere or to decide with.
Common Questions
- How long does it take? One to three working days for most consoles. Intermittent faults take longer, because they have to be reproduced before they can be found.
- Do I need to bring the controller or the leads? No, just the console. We have everything else on the bench.
- Will you wipe anything? No. Diagnostics does not touch your storage or your account, and nothing is reset without you asking for it.
- Is the fee refunded if I go ahead? It is credited against the repair, so you pay it once.
