Computer Repair

We operate two fully-equipped repair workshops in London: Victoria location at 25 Wilton Road (SW1V 1LW), just 2 minutes from Victoria Station, and our Wimbledon workshop at 136 Kingston Road (SW19 1LY), easily accessible from Wimbledon Station and Merton Park tram stop. Both locations accept all major computer brands including Apple MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Microsoft Surface. Can’t visit in person? You can also send your computer via secure post or courier service.

You can bring your device without an appointment – no problem. However, if your repair requires replacement parts, you’ll need to leave the device with us and collect it once ready, as we don’t stock parts and will need to order them specifically for your laptop. In other words: walk-ins are welcome, but you won’t get same-day repairs without pre-booking. We may be able to provide quick diagnostics or software assistance on the spot if we don’t have other appointments scheduled at that time. For guaranteed service and faster turnaround, we recommend booking ahead – this allows us to order the correct parts in advance and have your laptop ready when you arrive.

Repair times depend on the type of work required. Component replacements – such as screen, keyboard, or battery swaps – typically take 1-2 hours, provided we’ve ordered and received the parts before your appointment. We don’t keep replacement parts in stock due to the huge variety of laptop models, so we order them specifically for your booked appointment – parts usually arrive next day. Complex repairs involving motherboard diagnostics, micro-soldering work, or troubleshooting intermittent issues require more time for proper diagnosis and resolution – typically 2-5 days depending on the problem’s complexity. When you book, we’ll give you a realistic timeframe based on your specific repair.

At our London workshops in Victoria and Wimbledon, we repair all major computer brands – not just the popular Apple MacBooks, but we’re equally proficient with Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Acer, Microsoft Surface, Samsung Galaxy Book, and Toshiba laptops. Our expertise covers the full spectrum of issues: from standard component replacements like screens, keyboards, and batteries to advanced motherboard repairs and micro-soldering work. The quality and type of parts we use depends on the component type and manufacturer. Typically, we source original manufacturer parts to ensure perfect compatibility and warranty coverage. However, when high-quality alternative parts are available that offer cost savings without compromising functionality, we present all available options to you. We’ll explain the differences, pricing, and any trade-offs upfront – whether it’s an OEM screen with exact color calibration or a premium aftermarket alternative at a lower price point. You choose what works best for your budget and requirements. We never proceed with a repair until you’ve approved both the parts and the price.

Absolutely. We handle everything software-related: from operating system reinstallations for Windows and macOS, system repairs, and help with settings and security configurations, to detecting and removing system threats and viruses. We also provide assistance with applications, software troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Beyond that, we help with data migration between different computers, transferring your files, applications, and settings seamlessly. We also offer data recovery services to retrieve lost or accidentally deleted files. Whether it’s a software glitch, virus infection, or system corruption, our technicians can diagnose and resolve it.

We never intentionally delete data or make any software modifications during hardware repairs. However, if after completing the repair it turns out that data is missing, you cannot hold us liable for the absence of your data. We always recommend making a backup before bringing your device for repair if possible. For laptops with SSD or NVMe drives, we remove your storage drive during testing and use our own test drive to verify the repair – this means your data isn’t accessed at all during functionality testing. We only reconnect your original drive once the repair is confirmed working.

Without your password, we cannot properly test your computer after completing the repair. Despite our best efforts, replacement parts that arrive may be defective, or the computer might require additional adjustments beyond the initial repair. Without being able to log in and test the device thoroughly – checking display output, keyboard functionality, trackpad response, Wi-Fi connectivity, and overall system stability – we cannot confirm the effectiveness of our repair work. Your password allows us to verify that everything works correctly before returning your laptop to you, ensuring you receive a fully functional device.

We offer three delivery methods: visit us directly at Victoria or Wimbledon, post your device securely to either workshop address (we recommend insured tracked shipping for premium devices like MacBooks or Surface laptops), or use our courier collection and delivery service available within 2 miles of our locations. The courier option is ideal for busy London professionals – we’ll collect your computer, repair it at our workshop, and return it to your address. Most MacBook and Surface repairs are completed and returned the same day.

We provide a 6 to 12-month warranty on all computer repairs, varying by repair type and the manufacturer’s warranty on replacement parts. If a repaired component fails due to our workmanship or the part itself, we’ll fix it again completely free of charge. When booking your repair, please ask about the specific warranty period for your service. The warranty excludes new physical damage, subsequent liquid damage, or unrelated issues.
